These guidelines aim to promote a productive relationship that supports knowledge generation and dissemination, ethical conduct, professional growth, intellectual property rights, job stability, good working conditions, gender equality, non-discrimination, and mobility.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Code of Conduct for the Recruitment of Researchers complements the Charter by providing general principles and requirements for open, transparent, and merit-based recruitment (OTM-R) practices. This aims to create an attractive, open, and sustainable labor market for researchers in Europe.<\/span><\/p><p><b>UVT began the process of implementing HRS4R, based on the constant evaluation of the application of these 40 principles.<\/b><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/euraxess.ec.europa.eu\/sites\/default\/files\/policy_library\/HRS4R%20Technical%20Guidelines%20for%20Institutions_4.pdf\">HR Strategy for Researchers \u2013 HRS4R<\/a>&#8221; represents the framework for applying the 40 principles of the European Charter for Researchers and the Code of Conduct for the Recruitment of Researchers in institutional policies and practices. The 40 principles define the rights and obligations of researchers, employers, and funders of researchers in the European Union member states.<\/span><\/p><p><strong>In 2023, WUT received approval for administrative eligibility. At the same time, the EC suggested improvements before the next stage, which WUT implemented in 2023-2024, with the necessary documents being resubmitted in 2024.<\/strong><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The &#8220;HR Excellence in Research Award&#8221; publicly recognizes research institutions that have made progress in aligning their human resources policies with the principles set out in the Charter and Code. Institutions that have been awarded the right to use this symbol can highlight their commitment to implementing fair and transparent recruitment and appraisal procedures for researchers.
